The Programme
This groundbreaking pilot initiative is designed for talented diverse innovators who are interested in building solutions and businesses in the women's health space.
Led by Phil Benson, Co-Founder of UK Black Tech and Annette Joseph MBE, Founder of Diverse & Equal, we are engaging with talent across the North of England to recruit an initial cohort of 12 exceptional individuals.
A fully funded programme working with expert partners across academia, health, technology and start-up's, selected participants will follow a structured innovation process, learning how to research, ideate and prototype.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

12 WEEK BOOTCAMP
Weeks 1-4
Link community with academia and subject matter experts to interrogate and explore a challenge affecting the community.

Weeks 5-12
In teams, work with hypotheses developed in the explore phase to ideate, prototype and iterate potential solutions to create an MVP.
13 Weeks - 18-24 Months

Bespoke ongoing support yo establish businesses & prepare for growth. Funding, IP, clincal support, mentorship, workshops, signposting and ecosystem partnerships.

Design Jam Events
Outside the main programme we have wider opportunities to engage & benefit from our initiative.
Design Jam is an open, one day, hands-on session for anyone who is curious about women’s health and wants to explore how real-world challenges can be turned into meaningful solutions.
