What is the Women's Health Venture Programme?
A programme led by UK Black Tech, Diverse and Equal and support organisations to help Innovators interested in building solutions in the women's health space to develop and build a concept/product from scratch and to spin out sustainable and impactful businesses.
Who should apply?
Anyone who is an aspiring founder/entrepreneur with a genuine desire to build a business and develop impactful solutions in women's health.
What is the length of the programme?
The programme has been designed in 3 phases
- Explore -R&D (4 weeks)
- Innovate- Build (8 weeks)
- Embed -Founder wrap around support - scale, sign posting, network building, knowledge exchange, fundraising (Min 12 months)
What time commitment do we have to make?
Date start : Thu 7th May
Explore/Bootcamp Phase
In-person sessions (Leeds or Manchester — mandatory):
• Thu 7 & Fri 8 May 2026
• Thu 23 & Fri 24 July 2026
Online sessions (minimum 80% attendance):
• Every Friday from 15 May to 17 July 2026
Session times: 9:30am–4:30pm
Plus minimum 2 hours per week of homework.
Founder Support Program Phase
Date start: August 2026 + - (Min 12 months support, not mandatory)
